South Africans will need visas when visiting UK

South African passport holders will require a vias to enter Britain. The requirement, scheduled to come into effect on 3 March 2009, is intended to strengthen the British government's clamp down on "smugglers and terror suspects."

Tha availability of stolen or forged South Afrcan passports has been a concern for some time and the British government says the new visa requirements will deter those using illegally obtained documents.

The UK vistors visa will cost £65 (approximately R920)
